A remote control is an electronic device used to perform an operation on a remote machine. The term used to describe the remote to the TV or otherwise. Remote controls are usually small objects with an array of buttons to adjust the values (the TV channel). In most modern control device contains all the control functions. They communicate with their respective devices via infrared signals and only a few use radio signals. There are controls or radio controls for many other devices, scale models of airplanes, helicopters. Many robots are controlled remotely as well as some of the newest fighter jets.

CONCERNING THE HISTORY OF THIS INVENTION: In 1903, Leonardo Torres Quevedo presented the Telekino accompanied by memory and by an experimental demonstration. The Telekino was a robot that executed commands transmitted by radio waves, was the first apparatus radiodirección the world. During World War II, was conducted using remote control technology for military purposes. The first gadget designed to remotely control a television was developed by Zenith Radio in early 1950. The control cable used to connect to the TV. To improve the cumbersome system, created a wireless remote control in 1955. The controller, called "Flashmatic", works by sending a light beam to a photocell. Unfortunately, the cells did not distinguish between light of the command and the others. In 1956, Robert Adler developed "Zenith Space Commandun" wireless experience, used ultrasound to change the channel and volume. The receiver contained a microphone attached to a circuit that was set to the same frequency. In the early 80's, when semiconductors were developed to emit and receive infrared radiation, remote controls were gradually changing the technology to those in today.

Clock is called an instrument for measuring time. There are several types according to purpose: To determine the current time (wristwatch). Measure the length of an event (stopwatch) ... The clocks are used since antiquity. As has been evolving science and technology of manufacture, new models have emerged with greater precision, better poise and lower cost of manufacture. It is perhaps one of the most popular instruments in the world. There are also various types of clocks and analog or digital (operating with a small electric battery.)

Regarding the history of this invention: The ancients knew several species of clocks (the water clock, the air, the sun and other species that are unknown to us). The Egyptians measured with a sundial or water clock movements from the Sun. Sundials were invented in Egypt at the time of the Ptolemies. It is believed that the great weight and wheel clocks were invented in the West by the Benedictine monk Gerbert (late X century) or Richard Wasigford, England, who lived about 1326, because apparently the invention of Gerbert, was not more than a sundial. In Spain, the first clock tower was the cathedral of Barcelona. The first pocket watches imagined building was Peter Bell. Later, Huygens divided the hour into 60 minutes and 60 seconds latter. In 1647, the Geneva Gruet clock applied to the chain of steel used to transmit motion to the cone drum.

Before the 20th century: The penicillin

The penicillin was invented by Alexander Fleming in 1928 to act as an antibiotic.
Flemming had stayed away during a month of London and on having returned it observed that many cultures were contaminated and deposited them in a tray of lysol. Then he verified that in one of the plates that had not been washed still there saw a transparent zone about the mushroom which was demonstrating the presence of cellular destruction for what it devoted itself to cultivate and to isolate the mushroom until together with a group of scientists the penicillin discovered, which led them to gaining a prize nobel.
A few years later to his discovery a pupil of Fleming proposed to use her as medicine.

After the 20th century: The bmb m3 e92

The bmw m3 e92 is the fourth generation of the mythical one m3. This beast of 420 cv, 3999 cc and 32 valves it leads to m3 to reaching 307 kilometres / hour and to do 0 to 100 in only 4.5 seconds and the incredible ones reach 8300 rpm. It was thrown in 2007 and since then it has had great success.

An inventions of 20th centurie: The penicillin

Penicillin is an antibiotic that has its roots in a fungus called Penicillium notatum. As an antibiotic,penicillin kills bacteria and prevents them from continuing their growth, however, only has the power to fight those pathogens found in growht and multiplicattion, and not those who are still dormant. Penicillim and its beneficial properties were discovered acidentally by renowned British bacteriologist Alexandre Fleming in 1928, which realized that the presence of certain fungi on bacterial growth inhibited their growth. However, in order to producee large amounts of the antibiotic was necessary cooperation and contibutions of other geat bacteriologists,also Brithis, as Ernst Boris Chain and Howard Walter Florey. Penicillin is able to effectively fight the bacteria responsible for causing many diseases, among which we find the pneumococci, streptococci, gonococci, meningococci, the clostridium tetani and the spirochete. The last two are responsible for causing tetanus and syphilis, respectively.

An Invention of 20th Century: The Nuclear Weapon

A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission or a combination of fission and fusion. Both reactions release vast quantities of energy from relatively small amounts of matter. The first fission ("atomic") bomb test released the same amount of energy as approximately 20,000 tons of TNT. The first thermonuclear ("hydrogen") bomb test released the same amount of energy as approximately 10,000,000 tons of TNT. A modern thermonuclear weapon weighing little more than 2,400 pounds (1,100 kg) can produce an explosive force comparable to the detonation of more than 1.2 million tons (1.1 million metric tons) of TNT. Thus, even a small nuclear device no larger than traditional bombs can devastate an entire city by blast, fire and radiation. Nuclear weapons are considered weapons of mass destruction, and their use and control has been a major focus of international relations policy since their debut. Only two nuclear weapons have been used in the course of warfare, both by the United States near the end of World War II. On 6 August 1945, a uranium gun-type device code-named "Little Boy" was detonated over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Three days later, on 9 August, a plutonium implosion-type device code-named "Fat Man" was exploded over Nagasaki, Japan. These two bombings resulted in the deaths of approximately 200,000 Japanese people—mostly civilians—from acute injuries sustained from the explosions. The role of the bombings in Japan's surrender, and their ethical status, remain the subject of scholarly and popular debate. Since the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, nuclear weapons have been detonated on over two thousand occasions for testing purposes and demonstrations. Only a few nations possess such weapons or are suspected of seeking them. The only countries known to have detonated nuclear weapons—and that acknowledge possessing such weapons—are (chronologically by date of first test) the United States, the Soviet Union (succeeded as a nuclear power by Russia), the United Kingdom, France, the People's Republic of China, India, Pakistan, and North Korea. An invention before 20th Century: The Compass

A compass is a navigational instrument for determining direction relative to the Earth's magnetic poles. It consists of a magnetized pointer (usually marked on the North end) free to align itself with Earth's magnetic field. The compass greatly improved the safety and efficiency of travel, especially ocean travel. A compass can be used to calculate heading, used with a sextant to calculate latitude, and with a marine chronometer to calculate longitude. It thus provides a much improved navigational capability that has only been recently supplanted by modern devices such as the Global Positioning System (GPS). A compass is any magnetically sensitive device capable of indicating the direction of the magnetic north of a planet's magnetosphere. The face of the compass generally highlights the cardinal points of north, south, east and west. Often, compasses are built as a stand alone sealed instrument with a magnetized bar or needle turning freely upon a pivot, or moving in a fluid, thus able to point in a northerly and southerly direction. The compass was invented in ancient China around 247 B.C., and was used for navigation by the 11th century. The dry compass was invented in medieval Europe around 1300. This was supplanted in the early 20th century by the liquid-filled magnetic compass.

Wi fi:

A playstation is a further demonstration of the technology that promises to be installed: the wireless or wi-fi. Through it is possible to surf the Internet in places(specially prepared) without connecting to a power socket.

One of the cities "wireless" is Boston. There, restaurants, libraries and even pubs,offer that option. In Buenos Aires it is still not massive but there are several similarsites.

An invention created after the 20th century: The Hang

A Hang is a musical instrument in the idiophone class created by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer in Switzerland. The instrument is made from two deep drawn nitrided steel sheets that are attached together creating the recognizable 'UFO shape'. There is nothing inside the Hang but air.First generation Hang (2005) played horizontally on the lap, and second generation Hang (2007) played vertically on the lap.

Laser (1961). This device, which uses a quantum mechanical effect, to generate a beam of light with unique properties that make that has a wide range of applications,from medicine to the automotive, telecommunications and aeronautics, was inventedin 1960 by the physicist Theodore Maiman. The English word laser comes from thelaser, an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulate Emission of Radiation

An invention created after the 20th century: The Clock

Many years ago, before there were clocks, time was measured by the rotation of the Earth by observing the positions of the sun in the sky, tides and moon phases.
However, we needed a different measure time appliance accurately
In simpler words, the clock is our position on Earth, with respect to where the sun is at all times. Thus, at 12 days, the sun is overhead, at one day is a bit more towards thesea, and thus moves toward it with each passing hour.

4,000 years ago in Egypt, invented the first watch and was, in fact, the Sundial, only that it could not measure the time when it was night and there was no sun.

An invention created after the 20th century: the iPhone

The iPhone is one of the smartphones that Apple Inc. has created. The first iPhone was released on June, 29, 2007.
An iPhone can function as a video camera, a camera phone, a portable media player, and Internet with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. iPhone uses a multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard.
There are four generations of iPhone models. The last iPhone, the iPhone 4, was released February, 10, 2011.

An invention before 20 century. The Semaphore

Four years later appear the three-color semaphore.

The first semaphore was built in 1868 by James Percy Knight and was a failure, since one of the two gas lamps (one green and one red),exploded and killing the officer who was in charge.

Was in 1914, on Cleveland, Ohio, where settled the first semaphores , based in a autmoation sistem, invented by Garret Augustus Morgan.

The sewing machine

A sewing machine is a textile machine used to stitch fabric, cards and other material together with thread. Sewing machines were invented during the first Industrial Revolution to decrease the amount of manual sewing work performed in clothing companies. They were invented in 1791 by the british inventor Thomas Saint but his design was never really built. In 1814 an australian presented the first sewing machine and he patented it. RME

An invention before 20th century: Morse telegraph

An electrical telegraph was independently developed and patented in the United States in 1837 by Samuel Morse. His assistant, Alfred Vail, developed the Morse code signaling alphabet with Morse. America's first telegram was sent by Morse on 6 January 1838, across two miles (3 km) of wire at Speedwell Ironworks near Morristown, New Jersey. The message read "A patient waiter is no loser." On 24 May 1844, he sent the message "WHAT HATH GOD WROUGHT" (his original alphabet had no question mark or lower case) (quoting Numbers 23:23) from the Old Supreme Court Chamber in the Capitol in Washington to the old Mt. Clare Depot in Baltimore. This message was chosen by Annie Ellsworth of Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Patent Commissioner Henry Leavitt Ellsworth. The Morse/Vail telegraph was quickly deployed in the following two decades; the overland telegraph connected the west coast of the continent to the east coast by 24 October 1861, bringing an end to the Pony Express. An invention created before the 20th century: The bicycle

A bicycle, bike or pushbike is a vehicle with two wheels, one behind the other. A person who rides a bicycle is called a cyclist or a bicyclist.

Bicycles were introduced on 19th century, and they're the principal mains of transportation in many regions. They are also a popular form of entertainment, and had been adapted to become a children's toy, adult fitness or bicycle racing.

The first bicycle was introduced by Drais, in Paris in 1818. In the early 186os, the bicycle was adapted in a new way by Pierre Lallement. They finally changed again the design by reducing the front wheel diameter and sending the seat back.

Nowadays, the bike is a great way to do exercise and almost everyone has got one and knows how to ride it.

An invention before 20 century. The telegraph.

This device was invented by Samuel Morse, the system lacked a code for comunication, but soon both created an alphabet based on the amplitude of the signals giving it a real ability to communicate his invention. When the radio station the switch is closed, current flows from battery power to the line and the electromagnet, which makes it attracted a metal finished in a punch press a strip of paper which is moved by rollers drive, driven by a clockwork mechanism on a cylinder impregnated whit ink, so that, depending on how long you press the switch, will result in the printing of a dot or a line on the strip.
